The body of a 33-year-old Anchorage man who drowned in a weekend canoeing accident was found Monday in the Kenai River, Alaska State Troopers said. Searchers dragging the river near Sterling found the body of Brian Christenson about 400 yards downstream from the site of Sunday's accident. Christenson was canoeing with a friend, 23-year-old Scott Hyatt of Anchorage, near the Bing's Landing Recreation Area when their canoe apparently struck something under the water and capsized. Hyatt swam ashore, but Christenson was swept away, troopers said.
